| Richard J. Rogen
Richard J. Rogen is a healthcare executive with over 30 years of experience innovating and leading provider, health insurance and managed care organizations. Mr. Rogen’s experience includes developing and directing managed care organizations; developing and implementing joint ventures between insurance companies, hospitals, physicians and managed care organizations; leading, merging and consolidating health care organizations; establishing and implementing strategic and financial direction in an environment of change; organizing physician practices; and creating new revenue sources.
Mr. Rogen co-led the feasibility and development stages of the Tufts Health Plan and developed three Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) in Massachusetts ( Lahey Health Plan, Montachusetts Health Plan, and West Suburban Health Plan). He also developed a regional capitated primary care network of physicians for Kaiser Permanente in Akron, Ohio, and was President of Akron City Health System, a $200 million risk-taking physician hospital organization (PHO) with three product lines--commercial, Medicaid and Medicare.
Prior experiences include Senior Vice President of Health Care Affairs for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Vice President of Managed Care and Business Development of Summa Health System, Senior Vice President of Fiscal and External Affairs of St. John’s Hospital and COO of Non Acute Services for Saints Memorial Medical Center.
Mr. Rogen holds a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.
He also has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from the
Georgia Institute of Technology.

|Deborah A. Williamson
Ms. Williamson has over 18 years experience in senior healthcare management and consulting with physician, hospitals, health insurance companies, physician hospital organizations (PHOs), and managed care organizations.. She is recognized as a hands-on, proactive troubleshooter who can rapidly identify business problems, formulate strategic plans, initiate change and implement new processes in challenging and diverse environments.
For several years Ms. Williamson was a consultant with a nationally recognized healthcare consulting firm at which time she developed and implemented strategy for managed care clients in network development, contract negotiations, and provider relations programs in rural and urban provider markets. She assisted numerous physician, hospital, and PHO clients in assessing markets and formulating managed care business strategies; and in evaluating payor/provider managed care contracts. In addition to consulting, she has held several management positions in contract negotiations and provider relations in managed care organizations and integrated delivery systems with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid products.
Ms. Williamson has a B.A. in Management from Malone College. She is
a certified healthcare executive (CHE) through the American College
of Healthcare Executives.
|Kathryn J. Brown
| Ms. Brown is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 25 years of health
care experience in operations and strategic planning including eleven
years in the managed care field. As Vice President of Operations she
led the creation of the operational infrastructure for SummaCare, a start
up HMO in Akron, Ohio, which grew to over 100,000 enrollees. As Vice
President of Strategic Development she led the same HMO through a successful
application process for both Medicaid and Medicare certification. As
Senior Vice President of a $200 million risk-taking Physician Hospital
Organization (PHO) she led strategic development and daily operations,
including a strategic focus on physician profiling and incentive models,
and detailed analysis of cost and utilization issues with Medicaid and
Medicare product lines. Prior relevant work experience includes five
years as Chief Operating Officer for a Rehabilitation hospital and ten
years in various research positions for the Department of Insurance and
the Department of Health in Florida. She has served as a consultant to
the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences and to
the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Ms. Brown holds a Masters in Regional Planning from Cornell University
and a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Regis College. She also holds
a Certificate in Hospital Financial Management from Ohio State University.
